Sarakeb or Sarakib Goddess Asymmetric Dresses near old Ebla kingdom and civilization , Syria
This Sarakeb Fustaan is a stron example of what the Goddess dresses of the Bronze Age must have looked like.
The cut and seams do follow Arab traditional loom width and measured pattern designs, gussets and side panels even inserts. All seams are heavily informed with reappeared stitching then filled in with embroidered goddesses ( queens) and flora.
The dress-fustaan has one side different than the other. Is intentionally left “empty” undecorated on one side to keep the dress incomplete. This type of folklore is use3 in Mhardeh area in Syria as well. It is to protect the wearer from the 🧿 evil eye and confuse the bad energy when it is wished or coming at your person.
